The series explores the impacts of declining oil prices on the Canadian oil and gas industry workforce, as well as shorter and longer term solutions the industry is considering or undertaking in order to address future skills and labour demand.
In our second article, we examine shorter term solutions and alternatives from reducing compensation and benefits to redeploying workers that the industry is employing in order to maintain skills, talent and institutional memory during the downturn.
